Another great sequel!! We bought this game because we loved the first two.. This one has harder challenges to do. And your enemies are everywhere!! You have to look harder on this one than Ty 2 to find hidden items. The only hard thing I ran in to was to change the different rings it was hard to get use to when I was surrounded by enemies but, after a couple of times I was go to go. My 12 year old loves it she is good at jumping (she has to make my jumps!). We really like Ty becaues to me its a good friendly game to play.My husband really likes it and he is very hard to please when it comes to video games. Oh ya, I almost forgot you get to fly a plane on this one it's really cool and challenging!! Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3: Night of the Quinkan...... After recently purchasing the GBA Ty games, I had to get the third installment of the series for the Playstation 2. I tell you, these games just keep getting better and better. This time, Boss Cass has been defeated and locked up and Ty faces a new enemy. And, this time, Ty faces new challenges that include riding new vehicles such as the Crab-mersible, Robo-crab and more. It's up to you as Ty to get the Bush Rescue gang back together and defeat the Quinkan. It's more of a challenge this time around but that's okay by me. I love a good challenge. The Living Environment Technology System (LETS) that was developed creates lavish organic environments and incredible graphics - realistic cloth simulation technology, inverse kinematic procedural character animation, ragdoll physics and impressive water tech & more. They've even tweaked the controls, it seems, so that you control Ty much better. In my personal opinion, it's one of the best looking, best playing games out there for the PS2 at the moment. Something that really bothers me, though, is how people hadn't noticed the Ty games all that much. When I've mentioned Ty to all my platform gaming friends, they ask "Who??". Sure, they may not be pushing the envelope so far as games like Jak and Daxter or Ratchet and Clank but Ty offers a solid platformer game experience with high production values and good, addictive fun. Besides, he's a likeable lil Fellow who, at times, really cracks me up. He may not be all that known but he ranks up there with Mario, Jak, Ratchet, Sly and Tak as far as I'm concerned. I highly recommend the Ty games to platformer fans & casual fans alike. EA has got something good going with this series. I only hope they continue the series for the next-generation of consoles with bigger, better challenges. Another point for E.A and Krome studios!!! THIS GAME ROCKS!!! It has loads of new things, better gameplay, tougher challenges, and just a shiny new look. If you like the other Ty's, you will most certainly love this one!!! A DEFINITE MUST HAVE FOR ANY GAMER!!!
